Due to my hectic life and family and just a slew of everything you could possibly imagine. I’m leaving Rowlett at the end of the summer. 
Now here comes the good news.
I’m not dropping this site like a hot potato. I’m going to work with whomever I feel most confident to become an editor/contributor. I still own rowlettblog.com and will for years to come. I’ll be announcing an editor soon. So stay tuned!

So what do you all think about the ordinance Rowlett passed that is supposed to keep pedophiles from living in certain areas of Rowlett? Personally, I think it is a waste of time. If I am a pedophile, all I am going to do is walk, drive, or take the bus to an area I want to scope out to watch kids. I also think the judges who have ordered castration is a waste of time, since this is a mental issue. You still have the same thoughts whether you have the equipment or not. You can sexually abuse a child in more ways than one. This may sound radical, but you wonder if it would make sense to have isolated islands where facilities can be built and convicted pedophiles placed there to live out their lives under watch. It is kind of like roaches, if you spray your house, they simply leave, go through the grass to the next door neighbors and so on and so on.
